Chitta : Mind stuff. (citta)
Dharana : Concentration of mind. (Dharana)
Ekadashi : The eleventh day after the full moon or new moon, which a devotee spends in full or partial fasting, prayer, and worship. (dkadasi)
Ghatika : Period of twenty-four minutes.
Gingilly : Fickleness of the mind.
Gokul : Town on the banks of Januna River where Sri Krsna spent his childhood among the cowherds.
Gokulnanda : (Epithet for) Krsna-the bliss of Gokula.
Govardhana : Hill near Vrndavin which Sri Krsna lifted with is finger to protect villagers from a deluge of rain.
Gunas : Qualities of material nature. (gunas)
Hara : An epithet for Siva. (remover of death).
Hare : A direct address to God.
Hari : Lit. thief of sins; Lord of the outer nature.
Haridwar : A sacred place on the banks of the Ganges, at the foot of the Himalayas. (Hardwar)
Hatha Yoga : The system of yoga for gaining control over the physical body.
Hridayakasha : Unbounded heart expanse.
Ida : The subtle nerve current (nadi) flowing through the left side of the body.
Indriyas : The ten organs of perception and action.
Jagad : World; Universe.
Japa : Repetition of God's name.

Kapha : Phlegm; one of the three humours.

Kasi : Holy City of pilgrimage for Lord Shiva.
Kumbhaka : The suspension or cessation of breath.
Kundalini : The primordial cosmic energy in each individual.
Lakshmana : Brother of Sri Rama.
Maha : Great.
Maha Santi : The Great Peace.
Mahatama : Realized man of God. (mahatma)
Maheshwara : Great Lord; epithet of Siva.
Manas : Mind.
Mantra : Sacred syllables or sounds through which one attains perfection by their repetition and reflection.
Mathura : Holy district where Sri Krsna was born.
Maya : Illusion; cosmic veiling power of God.
Moksha : Liberation.
Mukti : Liberation.
Muladhara : Lowermost, root chakra. (muladhara)
Nada : The primal first vibration from which the manifest arises.
Nadi : A channel of subtle pranic current.
Nirvikalpa : The silence of mind when no thoughts or imaginations arise. The highest state of Samadhi in which the aspirant realizes his total oneness with Brahman.
Nityananda : Eternal Bliss. (Nityananda)
Nityatma : Eternal soul. (Nityatma)
Omkar : The most sacred sound vibration symbolizing Brahman or God.
Para-Brahma : The Supreme Brahman. (Param Brahma)
Paramahansa : Realized Soul; highest class of sunnyasins.
Paramananda : Supreme Bliss.
Paramatma : The Supreme Self.
Pariah : Outcast in Hindu social system.
Pindanda : The world of the body; microcosm as opposed to the world of the COSMOS.
Pingala : The subtle nerve current (nadi) flowing through the right side of the body.
Pitha : One of the three Ayur-Vedic humours.
Pooraka : Inhalation of breath. (puraka)
Prakriti : Primordial Nature; Matter which in association with Purusha creates the universe.
Prana : Bramanda. Life force; vital air.
Pranalinga : Essential energy of the universe embodied.
Pranava : Omkara; sacred sound vibration symbolizing Brahman or God.
Prana-Vayu : Vital air which pervades the upper body.
Pranayama : Science of control and regulation of vital and physcial breath.
Prema : Divine Love of the most intense kind.
Purushartha : One who transcends the gunas.
Rajas : One of the three gunas; the active quality of nature.
Raja Yoga : King of Yoga. Name applied to Patanjali's system of yoga.
Rechaka : Exhalation of breath.
Satchitananda : Being, consciousness, bliss (three aspects of Brahman).
Sadananda : Bliss of Eternity.
Sadaka : An aspirant devoted to the prac-tice of spiritual discipline.
Sadhana : Spiritual discipline.
Sadhu : Holy man; term generally used with reference to a monk.
Sahasrara : Thousand-petalled lotus region in the top of the head where Kundalini Shakti unites with Lord Siva.
Samadhi : State of total absorbtion where the Absolute is experienced beyond all duality.
Samsara : The cycle of birth and death.
Sankalpa : Thoughts, desires and imagination which arise in the mind.
Sanyasi : A renounciate; order of renounced life.
Sat : Being, truth, existence,that which undergoes no change.
Satwa : One of the three gunas; the quality of light, purity and goodness. (sattva)
Seeta : Divine wife of Rama.
Shabda : Sound.
Shakti : The creative energy of the absolute, a name of the Divine Mother. (sakti)
Shanti : Peace.
Shiva : Two being Brahman and Vishnu.
Shiva Linga : Sacred symbol of the merging Of God with form into the formless God.
Shraddha : Great Faith (sraddha). Also, a religious ceremony in which food and drink offered to deceased relatives.
Siddha : Perfected being.
Siddhi : Perfection. (Refers to yogic mystic attainments)
Sookshma : Subtle elements.
Sthoola : The gross body of five elements. (stula)
Sushumna : The most important of the nadis corresponding to the spinal column in the subtle body through which the awakened spiritual energy (Kundalini) rises.
Swadhisthana : Second chakra; one of the centers of subtle energy.
Swarajya : Self Mastery.
Tamas : One of the qualities of nature, inertia, tendency for concreteness.
Tapas : Austerity.
Taraka : Refers in raja yoga to the light between and in front of the eyebrows, which is seen in meditation.
Tatwa : Reality, element, essence, principle. (tattva)
Tat Wam Asi : Famous aphorism of Chandogya Upanisad "That Thou Art". (6.8, 6) (Tat Tvam Asi) Upanayana : Inner initiation; ceremony in which the Guru initiates the disciple into spiritual life. Varaigya : Detachment; dispassion (vairagya)
Yukti : Subtle tendencies of the mind which give rise to desires. (vasans).

Shambhavi Inner Strength – The Ultimate Panacea

Many times we are intrigued by words like faith healing or healing touch. Ancient fables and mythological scriptures give incredible accounts of healing powers of great saints and Siddhas. One look or an affectionate touch from them was enough to cure the most deadliest of the diseases. In Shirdi Sai Baba, Shri Gorakhnathji, Sidhguru Nityanada we had the divine who were endowed with miraculous healing powers. The Divine Healing Power of Lord Shiva

The answer to all these pertinent questions lie in Shambhavi- the divine healing power of Lord Shiva. Shambhavi was Shiva’s antidote to all the ills and ailments besieging mankind. Lord Shiva bestowed his divine powers on other Siddha masters in the lineage. One such celebrated soul was Avdhoot Baba Nityananda. True to his benevolent self, Gurudev Nityananda in conferred this divine power on Avdhoot Baba Shivananda. Avdhoot Baba Shivananda, in true compliance of his Guru’s wishes, has made this divine power available to everyone.

Shambhavi is the power of Shiva’s third eye, Shambhavi is a highly potent flow of life force energy. When Lord Shiva opens his third eye, immense power capable of rooting out all the negativity is generated in a sudden upsurge. Shiva harnessed this power to the benefit of mankind. He administered Shambhavi Diksha to the great masters with dual purpose of enabling them to destroy negativity and healing ailments. Shambhavi is essentially the highest Diksha in the spiritual quest. It embodies three powerful Shaktipats that are conferred on a disciple. Shaktipats facilitate the opening of third eye. Amazing Healing Attributes of Shambhavi

Shambhavi derives its healing attributes from two powerful Shakti Kriyas and Brahmand Kriya. These factors when combined with Siddha’s Karmic Mandala provide a huge impetus to the healing capabilities of Shambhavi. With the results, Shambhavi can heal the most deadliest of diseased be it the kidney failure, heart ailment, diabetes, arthritis or even cancer. LEVEL I

Karma Dosha, Pitra Dosha and Deva Dosha undergo successful healing. Mrit Sanjeevani Kriya brings about age reversal and rejuvenation. Healing of Bhumi Dosha promises to provide relief to those dogged by negative energies of houses and offices buildings. The same negative energies are converted into divine energies through instant and economical Vaastu correction.
Karmic factors impeding goal achievement are dispersed through healing. Departed souls in a state of torment are healed by Siddha way of Ascension of Ancestors. ABOUT PRATIPRASAV SADHNA :

Your present is a reflection of what you did in the past. If you are unhappy it indicates unresolved issues in this life or the past life. One must resolve these issue so that they do not enter into similar circumstances again and again and also so that they do not carry the same circumstances to their next birth. This unresolved issue is what is called Samskars or Sanchit Karmas by our scriptures.

Q. Every religion is talking about the 'doomsday' and in our religion also
'Mahapralaya in Kalyuga' is mentioned. And the year 2012 is considered to be the
doomsday – the day of judgement. Please elaborate on this.

Babaji: December 21st in the year 2012 is the Ascension Day for the evolved human beings. It can be the doomsday for those who have not followed the path of truth.

Actually every human being has an individual consciousness. Planet earth also has its own consciousness which is very clear and pure. That's why the whole Galaxy and the planet earth are ascending. Year 2012 is the transition period for planet earth when it will enter in the fourth dimension from the present position in the third dimension. Planetearth has been continuously ascending since late 1980's and its vibrational frequency has been increasing ever since. In early 1990's, it was vibrating at the frequency of 7 hertz resonance. By December 2012, it shall vibrate at the frequency of 16.8 hertz resonance. That means the vibrational frequency of Earth will become double. More vibrational frequency indicates more purity and the energy, i.e. earth heading towards higher dimension. So, this is the period when the our planet is going to ascend into the fourth dimension, becoming more pure, divine and full of love energy.

Now the question is what will happen to the human beings who are living in the third dimension? People are talking about saving planet earth, but it is not correct. It is because of our ego that we talk like this. Planet earth has its own consciousness and is already ascending to higher dimension. We should rather be talking about saving ourselves, about saving fellow human beings. All individuals have different consciousness levels and are still vibrating at much lower frequencies. More than 2/3 of our population is vibrating at below average frequency level. That's the reason in every such human being only 3.5%
DNA is active and rest of 96.5% DNA is totally inactive, indicating the ignorance level,spirituality level and the level of truth within us. Baba Gorakshnath, Buddha, Christ and all holy Siddhas had 100% active DNA and had a much higher vibrational frequency. That's why they were much more evolved beings.

The low DNA activation influences thinking of mankind, making them think negatively thus generating negative energy. Collective generation of negative energy will take mankind towards disaster. As on today 2/3 rd of the population has to be saved from the destructive negative energy field of ego, greed, hatred, resentment, holding on to herd mentality and trying to create herd of people which can be dominated by individuals and so on.

The grace of the evolved beings can activate your DNA and erase your past accumulated karmas. Then you rise above all these negative qualities, your vibrational energy gets enhanced and the DNA activation starts. That's why it is said that it cannot happen on its own. Divine light is needed to initiate this process and at every stage of growth and activation.

Therefore, if we also consciously make efforts to raise our energy levels and move
towards higher spirituality, then we too can easily ascend to 4th dimension along with planet earth. But it can be the doomsday for those who are not growing spiritually.

Hinduism, Christianity, Judaism, Zoroastrianism and Islam, all religions say that the doomsday is the day of Judgment for all those who are unfaithful to the Divinity. But in the Siddha philosophy it is mentioned, as I said earlier, that on this Day of Judgment those who follow the divine path will be saved by Shiva (Infinite) himself. This means that those who are on the path of purity will ascend to the fourth dimension during their living time, and from the year 2012 to 2028 all these living human beings will be totally submerged in the fourth dimension experiencing the higher level of spirituality powered with unconditional love, bliss and happiness. And those who are still vibrating at lower frequency level of third dimension in 2012, when the earth is entering into higher dimension are likely to perish in the natural and manmade calamities. And when theyare reborn, they will not come on this planet where we are living. Instead they will go down to another planet which is vibrating at the lowest 3rd dimensional energy and they are likely to face the ‘Ghor Kaliyuga’ with more suffering, sorrow, pain, disease and 'alp aayu'as mentioned in the scriptures.

So let's take the period from now up to the year 2012 as anopportunity to collectively work towards our ascension and also help all our near and dear ones to achieve the same. If we work collectively, we can take the whole humanity towards happiness, towards unconditional love and towards self realisation. Let's be one divine ray of light of holy Siddhas and let us work for the divinity. Due to ignorance we might have worked for the Devil and might have been instrumental in making many people drift from the right path. But it's never too late. Let us illuminate our lives and work to illuminate the lives of others.
